How to Use Urine Testing Kits for Opiates Drug

Allow the test cup to come to room temperature [15-30℃ (59-86℉)] prior to test.

 1. Open the foil bag and take out the test cup and disposable gloves provided for the donor. Label the device with the donor's information. (Fig. 1)

2. Remove the lid from the test cup. Urinate directly into the test cup, ensuring the urine specimen fills the cup between the minimum 30 mL and maximum 110 mL marks. (Fig. 2)

3. After collecting the urine specimen, securely close the lid and return the cup to the collection official. (Fig. 3)

4. The collection official should wear the provided gloves. Peel off the label to reveal the test results. Read the results at 5 minutes. DO NOT INTERPRET THE RESULTS AFTER 10 MINUTES. (Fig. 4 & 5)

How to Use Saliva Testing Kits for Opiates Drug

Allow the test cup, specimen, and/or controls to reach room temperature (15-30°C) prior to testing.

Instruct the donor to not place anything in the mouth including food, drink, gum or tobacco products for at least 10 minutes prior to collection.

1. Take the collection sponge and test cube out of the sealed pouch and remove the packaging around the collection sponge.

2. Insert the sponge end of the saliva collector into the mouth. Actively swab the inside of the mouth and tongue for 2-3 minutes until the sponge is fully saturated. Gently press the sponge between the tongue and teeth to assist saturation. Ensure the sponge feels soft with no hard spots when fully saturated.

3. Remove the collector from the mouth and insert the saturated oral fluid collector into the test cup. Screw the collector to press the sponge fully and release the oral fluid.

4. Place the test cup on a clean, flat surface. Remove the peel-off label, wait for the flow to appear in the test windows, and start a timer.

5. If the sample does not migrate in the test cup after 3 minutes, rotate the cup 4-5 times.

6. Read the test results between 3-10 minutes. If all lines are clearly visible at 3 minutes or sooner, the test can be interpreted as negative and discarded. If any lines are not visible at 3 minutes, re-read the test at 10 minutes.

7. For the alcohol strip, if applicable, read the results at 2 minutes. Compare the color of the reaction pad with the provided chart to determine the relative oral fluid alcohol level.

How Long Should You Wait to See the Results?

Here is an overview of the expected waiting times for our  Opiates drug testing kits:

Types of Testing Kit Waiting Time Factors Affecting Duration
Urine Testing Kit 5 minutes Hydration levels, urinary pH, and frequency of use can influence how long Opiates remains detectable in urine.
Saliva Testing Kit 3 to 10 minutes Saliva tests have a shorter detection window, making them useful for detecting recent use.

Factors Influencing Detection Times

  • Opiate type and potency: Different opiates (heroin, oxycodone, morphine, etc.) have varying detection times. More potent opiates may linger longer.

  • Frequency and amount of use: Chronic opiate use with higher doses leads to longer detection windows compared to single use or smaller amounts.

  • Metabolism: Individual variations in metabolism significantly impact elimination rates. A faster metabolism processes opiates quicker.

  • Hydration: Proper hydration flushes out opiate metabolites faster, while dehydration extends detection times.

  • Overall health: Liver and kidney issues can hinder the body's ability to eliminate opiates, affecting detection times.

  • Body composition: Opiate metabolites can be stored in fat tissue. People with higher body fat percentage may take longer to eliminate them.

  • Other substances: Using other drugs like alcohol or certain medications can interact with opiate metabolism and detection.

How Accurate Are Our Opiates Drug Testing Kits?

Our drug tests are highly accurate! Evaluated by three independent individuals using our drug testing samples, they showed:

  • 92.5% accuracy for positive results: Indicate that when the test detects a drug, it is correct 92.5% of the time.

  • 100% accuracy for negative results: Meaning that when the test shows no drug presence, it is always correct.

Various factors, such as pH levels, hydration, metabolism, physical activity, or the use of other substances, can influence drug test results. However, our tests remain unaffected by these variables.

This demonstrates that our tests are extremely reliable and consistent, making them an excellent choice for drug detection.
